In short: this extension collects nothing. It has no servers, no accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. Everything happens locally in your browser.

What the extension does

Azure DevOps PR Feedback to Markdown adds an “Export feedback” button to Azure DevOps pull-request pages. When you click it, the extension reads the review comment threads already displayed on the page and converts them into a Markdown document, which it copies to your clipboard and downloads as a .md file.

Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data or usage data.

No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting.
No cookies or remote storage.
No account, login, or API key.
No external network requests — the extension does not send the page content (or anything else) to any server.

How your data is handled

The pull-request content you export is processed entirely on your device, inside your browser, and is written only to your clipboard and a local Markdown file that you download. It is never transmitted anywhere by the extension. What you subsequently do with that file (for example, pasting it into an AI assistant) is your choice and is outside this extension.

Permissions

The extension runs a content script only on Azure DevOps hosts (*.visualstudio.com and dev.azure.com) so it can add the button and read the review on the page you are viewing. It requests no other permissions.

Third parties

The extension integrates with no third-party services and shares data with no one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page and in the repository.
